Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger points are sore, painful spots that occur in muscle fibers. They are called trigger points because they “trigger” a painful response that often refers pain to different parts of your body. Trigger Point Massage uses concentrations of direct pressure on each trigger point to prevent cycles of muscle pain and spasms. This type of massage can be extremely painful while being done. However, Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy usually provides some pain relief after just one session.

Frequency Specific Microcurrent

Frequency Specific Microcurrent is a painless physical therapy modality used to treat many conditions, such as nerve and muscle pain. It utilizes micro amperage current and the resonance effects of specific frequencies on tissues and conditions. Micro amperage is the same current produced by your body’s own cells at values 1000 times less than the current of most other electrotherapies. The machine, approved as a TENS device, can provide symptomatic relief of pain. The frequencies bring a variety of conditions and tissues back into energetic balance, changing pain and function in a number of clinical conditions. FSM frequencies have been found to resonate with biologic tissue, and based on clinical trials and research, it appears that they align with specific conditions and tissues. By creating a protocol that follows the story of a person’s injury, the pain pattern can be reversed. Once the tissue is changed and stable, it is often able to maintain the new configuration. Used as an adjunct with proper diagnosis, treatment, and nutrition, FSM can produce incredible relief from symptoms.

Infrared Light Therapy

Red Light Light Therapy has the ability to address physiological, mental, and emotional issues. Healthy cells vibrate at about 660 nanometers. When tissue sustains injury or illness the vibration level in the affected cells goes down. Increasing the vibration level in the cell with the Photonic Red Light is like jump-starting a dead car battery; it accelerates the mitochondria within the cell, which increases ATP production. ATP sends signals to the brain so the brain releases endorphins, anti-inflammatories, serotonin, and more.It has been found, and proven, that the light stimulates the mitochondria within the cell which increases ATP production. Increased ATP production allows damaged cells to accept nutrients more quickly and eliminate toxins. If administered quickly enough, it can prevent cellular death. This process allows the body to heal itself by reducing/eliminating pain and inflammation while increasing circulation. It also excites the collagen within the damaged tissue and allows the body to heal itself faster.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a comprehensive form of total therapy, addressing physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual through working the Reflexes of the feet and hands. There are many theories on how reflexology works, however, a consensus has formed around the Contemporary Inclusive Theory. This states that whenever reflexes(nerve endings bundled with connective tissue and blood vessels) are worked, the nervous, lymphatic, circulatory, sensory, and fascial(joint/muscle) systems are affected.
